The guide behind
Let Life In

The breath became a way back to myself.
Today I get to walk alongside others for a while.

Alva, founder of Let Life In Breathwork

Who is Alva

I began by trying to understand myself

I came to breathwork during a period when I longed for something I could not quite think my way to.

I had already spent a lot of time understanding myself — my patterns, my feelings, why I reacted the way I did. But in the breath something else happened. The body got to take part.

I began to notice how much I was holding back. Tension. Feelings. Control. Parts of myself that I had tried to understand with my head, but that needed to be experienced.

It became the beginning of a practice of my own, deepened over time through training, many hours of breathwork and meetings with other people.

Today I hold space for the same kind of exploration: a place where you get to listen a little more closely to what is already within you.

How I work

I do not enter the room with a finished idea of where you should go

For me it is about creating enough safety for you to become curious about what is actually happening in you.

Sometimes a breathwork session becomes strong and emotional. Sometimes it is quiet. Sometimes insights come. Sometimes it mostly feels as if the body finally gets to stop holding everything together for a while.

I am not trying to create a particular experience.

I listen, I follow and I stay.

“I do not want to tell you what you should find.
I want to create a room where you can hear yourself more clearly.”

The journey here

Let Life In began as a practice of letting in more life

The name came out of something I myself needed to learn.

Not always controlling the next step.

Not analysing every feeling.

Daring to stay when the body wanted to open, move, cry, laugh or simply breathe.

Let Life In eventually became the name for what I wanted to pass on.

For me it does not mean being open to everything or pushing through our limits. It means gradually becoming more present in the life that is actually happening — in the body, the relationships, the feelings and what wants to move within us.

Breathwork is one of the ways I work with that.

Today I offer one-to-one sessions, group sessions and breathwork online. Every meeting gets to have its own rhythm.

Check in with yourself

Would you like to breathe together?

You do not need to know what you want out of a session before you come.

Maybe you long to let go for a while.
Maybe there is something you want to come closer to.
Maybe you are simply curious about what happens when you give the body more room.

You are welcome exactly where you are.
